Gharvanta Trust Centre

Building a safer and more transparent property marketplace through responsible verification, clear information and buyer awareness.

Trust & Safety

Why verification matters

Property transactions can involve ownership, land-use, document, financial and family-related risks. Gharvanta's verification approach is designed to help users make better-informed decisions.

👤

Know the Seller

We are building a process to distinguish owners, authorised representatives and dealers/brokers and to collect appropriate seller information.

📄

Review Property Information

Submitted property information and supporting documents can be reviewed against Gharvanta's internal verification checklist.

🔎

Encourage Due Diligence

Verification is intended to support, not replace, independent legal, revenue, land-use and financial due diligence.

Verification Levels

Understand what a property status means

A verification label should tell you what has actually happened, rather than giving a misleading guarantee.

● Seller Declared

Seller Declared

The seller has provided property information and completed the applicable seller declaration. This is not a document verification or legal clearance.

● Documents Submitted

Documents Submitted

Supporting verification documents have been submitted by the seller for review. Submission alone does not mean that the documents have been approved.

● Gharvanta Verified

Gharvanta Verified

Gharvanta has reviewed the submitted information and documents against its internal verification checklist, subject to the scope and date of that review.

How Gharvanta Works

A marketplace and intermediary — not a party to your property deal

Gharvanta helps users discover properties, review marketplace information and connect with sellers. The actual property transaction remains between the relevant parties.

English: Gharvanta.com is a digital property marketplace/intermediary platform. Gharvanta is not a party to a sale, purchase, lease or other property agreement between users. A listing, seller profile or Gharvanta verification status does not constitute legal advice, government approval, title certification or a guarantee of the transaction.

Know before you transact • लेन-देन से पहले जानें

English: Before buying, selling, booking or paying any amount, independently verify title and ownership, land records, encumbrances or litigation, land-use/conversion status, approvals, taxes, registration requirements and other applicable local rules with the competent authority. Where appropriate, obtain advice from a qualified property lawyer.

Buyer Safety

Check before you pay

A property listing is not a substitute for your own transaction due diligence.

  • Verify the identity and authority of the person selling the property.
  • Check ownership and the relevant title/revenue records independently.
  • Check applicable land-use rules, permissions and location-specific restrictions.
  • Check for mortgages, encumbrances, attachments, disputes and other claims.
  • Confirm the actual property location, boundaries and access before committing money.
  • Where appropriate, obtain independent advice from a qualified property lawyer or relevant professional.
  • Do not pay a token, advance or booking amount solely because a property is listed or marked as verified on Gharvanta.
Important: Property laws, permissions and eligibility can vary by location and land category. Users should verify the applicable requirements for their particular transaction.

See something suspicious?

If you believe a property listing contains incorrect information, a false ownership claim, suspicious documents, a legal dispute or possible fraud, report it to Gharvanta so it can be reviewed.

Verification Disclaimer: Gharvanta Verified means that Gharvanta has reviewed the information and documents submitted for the property against its internal verification checklist. It is not a government certificate, title certificate, legal opinion or guarantee that the property is free from disputes, claims, encumbrances or other legal issues. Buyers and other users should conduct independent due diligence before entering into any transaction.
